Who, me?

Welcome to my homepage. My name is Benjamin Jiglund and  I live in Uppsala together with my partner and our three cats.

My love for cats and interest in creating inspired my decision to become a breeder. I got my prefix SE*Hormuz in 2017 and my plan is to have a careful breeding on a small scale. My cattery had its first litter in 2018 and so far I have had approximately two litters per year.

I have always been interested in felines and since I was a child I have been fascinated by cats. Especially the spotted lynx has always been close to my heart. Maybe that is the reason that I have chosen to have the ocicat as my breed which has quite a wild appearence but with lovely characteristics.

 

Aside from breeding I am a well known exhibitor of ocicats. I attend several shows per year both within Sweden and outside Sweden. Showing my cats is a way to promote the breed and a way for me to keep in mind what external characteristics I need to work on within my breeding. So far I have bred 4 junior winners, 3 cats with the Supreme Champion title.
